Work Environment\n

This remote position offers a flexible working arrangement while allowing you to connect with a diverse client base. Our clinic is designed to facilitate integrated care by enabling seamless communication among team members—including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists—through advanced digital collaboration tools. You will work Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening hours to accommodate client appointments. This setup empowers you to effectively manage time while ensuring a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct detailed and comprehensive assessments to discern clients' mental health challenges and substance use concerns, identifying co-occurring disorders effectively.

  Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to develop essential coping mechanisms, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation skills.

  Coordination of care is critical; you will continuously update and assist the multidisciplinary team to foster an integrated treatment approach.

  Perform regular substance use monitoring, utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to enhance clients' engagement in their recovery process.

  Educate clients and their families about the interaction between mental health and substance use disorders, reinforcing the rationale for treatment adherence.

  Maintain meticulous and prompt documentation of treatment progress, interventions, and referrals, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

  Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to continue to build knowledge and skills specific to co-occurring disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with both mental health issues and substance use disorders, often referred to as co-occurring disorders. Our clients vary in age and background, each bringing their own unique challenges and stories. You will work closely with this diverse population, addressing their mental, emotional, and social needs in a supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

  A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.

  Proven proficiency in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, particularly in Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

  A strong comprehension of how mental health and substance use disorders influence each other.

• \n

  Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

  A minimum of 2 years' experience working directly with adults suffering from mental health issues and substance use disorders.

  Experience in community health settings or integrated care facilities is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
