Work Environment\n

The work setting for this role is primarily remote, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining essential collaboration with the integrated care team. You will have access to cutting-edge telehealth technology to facilitate seamless communication and treatment delivery. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility for evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient requests.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that account for co-occurring medical conditions, such as chronic illnesses and substance use disorders.

• Develop and execute multidisciplinary treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, simultaneously addressing both psychological and physical health.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Work closely with medical providers to ensure coordinated care, enhancing treatment strategies and outcomes through ongoing collaboration and communication.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing mental health emergencies, employing quick assessment skills to determine appropriate interventions.

• Educate patients about the interrelationship between mental and physical health, employing tailored resources to empower them in managing their overall well-being.

• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR), adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards for documentation.

• Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment strategies, share insights, and foster a collaborative spirit.

• Stay apprised of the latest developments in integrated care and mental health research to continually enhance the effectiveness of your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population is diverse, including individuals with co-occurring mental and physical health conditions. You will support clients grappling with challenges such as anxiety, depression, chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use. By addressing both their mental health needs and medical realities, you will play an essential role in their overall recovery journey and quality of life improvement.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.

• Demonstrated experience in addressing the mental health needs of patients with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Strong collaborative skills and prior experience in integrated care environments.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
\n
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical guidelines.

• Familiarity with electronic health record software and proficiency in utilizing core computer applications for clinical practice.

• A firmer understanding of interdisciplinary teamwork dynamics.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling or therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
