• Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the needs of clients seeking support for alcohol-related issues.

• Set your own schedule with no minimum hourly requirements, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

• Receive compensation for any late cancellations or no-show appointments, ensuring fair payment for your time.

• Engage in monthly peer group meetings to share insights, strategies, and support with fellow clinicians.

• Collaborate with the Content Manager to create “Expert Insights” that contribute to the organization’s educational resources, if desired.

• Lead optional support groups to enhance client community engagement and provide additional layers of support.

• Participate in ongoing training and obtain Continuing Education Units (CEUs), with costs covered by the organization.

• Access clinical support from our dedicated Care Coordination Team to enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes individuals from diverse backgrounds who are at various stages of their relationship with alcohol—some seeking complete abstinence, while others may pursue moderation. As a Mental Health Counselor, it’s vital to understand each client’s personal goals and provide tailored interventions, employing therapeutic techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help them navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess either an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) license valid in the state of California.

• Demonstrated experience and training in recognized therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

• Strong clinical engagement skills, with the ability to empathize and connect with clients navigating their recovery journeys.

• Understanding of the harm-reduction model, recognizing that some clients may prefer moderation over complete abstinence.

• Familiarity with community recovery support options, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Smart Recovery, and Moderation Management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 per year, complemented by a bonus structure.
