Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and devise effective treatment plans.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient, utilizing a blend of exercise, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Documenting patient progress, maintaining accurate records of treatments and outcomes in adherence to state regulations.
• Reassessing and adjusting treatment goals and plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.
• Educating patients and families on treatment procedures, rehabilitation goals, and strategies for self-management and home exercise programs.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and medical specialists, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Staying current with industry advancements by participating in continuing education workshops and networking with fellow professionals.

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population that includes children, adults, and seniors recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience is not mandatory, candidates with clinical experience in orthopedic manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or similar settings will be highly valued.
