Work Environment

This position is based on-site at our outpatient facility in Lakeland, Florida, where you will work primarily during standard office hours, with a commitment to a 40-hour work week and variable weekend availability as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients' physical conditions to develop individualized treatment plans that address specific functional limitations.
• Consult with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated continuum of care for patients.
• Engage with patients of diverse backgrounds and cultures while consistently adhering to our high standards of customer service.
• Implement treatment protocols by performing evidence-based therapeutic exercises and modalities, measuring patient progress, and making necessary adjustments to the treatment plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices, ensuring accuracy in billing and coding for services rendered.
• Foster communication with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and referral sources, to discuss patient care and share relevant findings.
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives, program development, and quality improvement projects that enhance service delivery and community health.
• Provide mentorship and training to support staff, including physical therapy aides and students, promoting a culture of learning and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
