Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist at Active Life PT, you will enjoy a dynamic and welcoming work environment. Our clinic operates on-site, allowing for direct interaction with patients and immediate collaboration with colleagues. Our typical work schedule is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, providing a balanced work-life experience that allows you to thrive both personally and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care focused on restoring movement and improving function.
• Manage a reasonable patient load, ensuring ample time for assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
• Utilize expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to guide treatment planning and execution.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices to create customized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress using EMR software, with proficiency in tools like WebPT.
• Promote non-surgical alternatives by implementing cost-effective treatments and exercises aimed at improving mobility.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, effectively communicating progress and adjustments to their care plans.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals including physicians and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness continuously and adjust interventions as necessary based on patient progress.
• Support the development of fitness and wellness programs tailored to enhance patients' overall health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No history of sanctions or disciplinary actions against licensure.
• Strong foundational knowledge of physical therapy techniques and methodologies supported by up-to-date research.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and exercise programming.
• Ability to effectively use electronic medical records (EMR), particularly WebPT, for accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting, especially in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proven track record of developing successful, evidence-based exercise interventions.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Life PT offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
