Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, providing home care services to patients in their residences. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will:

• Deliver comprehensive care to both inpatient and outpatient caseloads, ensuring each treatment adheres to established standards of care.
• Conduct thorough evaluations, selecting appropriate assessment tools and setting achievable goals tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass a variety of rehabilitation techniques.
• Maintain precise documentation of each patient's evaluation and treatment sessions in our electronic medical record system, ensuring accuracy for billing and care continuity.
• Perform screenings for conditions such as lymphedema or fall risks, proactively identifying needs for further rehabilitation.
• Participate in departmental educational efforts, contributing to presentations or publications that enhance the clinic's standing in the community.
• Utilize medical facilities and equipment effectively in both home and clinical settings to restore and maintain patient function, improve mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent disability.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including those with limitations due to physical injuries, cognitive impairments, and psychosocial or developmental challenges. The role requires the versatility to engage effectively with various demographics, including pediatric patients. Your personalized approach will support each individual's journey toward improved health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current FL PT License in good standing.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience within an acute care hospital setting.
• Strong proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, crucial for effective patient assessment and treatment.
• Demonstrated ability to work comfortably in both outpatient clinics and inpatient hospital environments.
• Experience and competence in providing care to pediatric patients, enhancing the overall capacity of our team to serve young learners and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with hospital medicine practices.
• Knowledge of various rehabilitation methodologies, enabling treatment flexibility.

Compensation and Benefits
