Work Environment

Your work will be conducted onsite in our spacious 5,000-square-foot facility, designed to optimize patient recovery through advanced rehabilitation technologies. Our office promotes a collegial atmosphere where collaboration among our staff—comprised of experienced physical therapists and physical therapy assistants—is valued and encouraged. The normal work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a balanced work-life approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients thoroughly to identify goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a designated caseload, ensuring an efficient and effective treatment plan for each patient—typically one-on-one sessions.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans including a variety of techniques to improve mobility, manage pain, and enhance overall patient function.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and monitor patient progress regularly to achieve the desired therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialty care providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient sessions, treatments administered, and progress towards goals.
• Effectively communicate with patients to motivate and engage them in their own treatment process.
• Stay current with new developments in the field and maintain professional development through continuous education and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients suffering from a range of orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain syndromes, and mobility impairments. Your expertise in customizing rehabilitation strategies for these individuals will significantly impact their recovery journey, helping them to regain independence and improve their daily functioning.

Qualifications

• Earned Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred).
• Active and valid Physical Therapist license in Florida.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and developing tailored exercise protocols.
• Strong competence in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly with WebPT.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear interactions with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Background in working with sports-specific injuries and rehabilitation for athletes.
• Experience in developing wellness and preventative exercise programs.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and support patients through their treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000 per year, reflective of experience and qualifications.
