Work Environment

This position is based onsite within our home care division, where you will visit patients in their residences. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical abilities, limitations, and goals to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement hands-on therapy, utilizing a variety of techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to each patient's needs.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans based on progress and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, strategies for injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications essential for recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care solutions are provided.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and incorporate evidence-based techniques into your approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be serving diverse patient populations, including elderly individuals recovering from surgeries, people managing chronic pain, and those rehabilitating from injuries. Each patient will present unique challenges, requiring you to adapt your techniques and communication styles to meet their specific needs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• A minimum of three (3) years of practical experience in physical therapy or a related field is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and families.
• Ashdonasiate to work autonomously and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary care team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care settings or outpatient clinics is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with a variety of treatment methodologies such as sports rehabilitation, geriatrics, or pediatric therapy beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
