Work Environment

This position is based in an onsite outpatient office located in the heart of Lakeland, Florida. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Aspire Care, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to inform the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize various therapeutic methods, such as manual therapy techniques, exercise prescriptions, and advanced modalities to ensure effective treatment.
• Closely monitor patient progress, documenting treatment methodologies and outcomes, while adjusting plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Support patients with personalized home exercise programs, enabling them to enhance their rehabilitation outside of therapy sessions.
• Train patients, families, and caregivers in the use of assistive devices as well as strategies to support ongoing mobility and independence.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry best practices through continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population, including children and adults dealing with various conditions such as orthopedic injuries, sports-related issues, post-operative rehabilitation, and neurological disorders. You will play a crucial part in helping each patient achieve their personal rehabilitation goals, thereby directly influencing their return to an active, fulfilling lifestyle.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic documentation.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient needs.
• A current CPR certificate.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
