Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and medical history.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that may include exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve patients' physical function and quality of life.
• Provide education on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and self-management strategies to patients and their caregivers.
• Document patient progress thoroughly and accurately, ensuring compliance with best practices and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including occupational therapists and healthcare providers, to maximize patient care outcomes and facilitate a coordinated effort in recovery.
• Actively contribute to clinic performance through meeting utilization goals and assisting in outreach efforts within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a varied patient population, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine needs. Each day will present unique challenges and the chance to employ your expertise to help patients navigate their recovery journey. Your ability to establish rapport with patients will be critical in helping them achieve their functional goals and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in documentation and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is highly preferred.
• Two years of prior experience in an outpatient setting is required to thrive in this role.
• A current CPR certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with patients and colleagues alike.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
