Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing their medical histories, performing physical assessments, and documenting findings clearly and accurately.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans effectively with patients and their families, ensuring they are involved in goal-setting to foster a supportive recovery journey.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, adapting interventions based on individual patient presentations and the latest industry standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as necessary, recognizing changes in patients' conditions and modifying treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal care.
• Manage discharge planning processes, providing clear and comprehensive follow-up care instructions to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters, including initial evaluations, daily notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills while meeting patient productivity expectations and participating in community outreach activities.
• Contribute to department goals by complying with all relevant regulations and actively engaging in the development of improved clinical practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.

Compensation and Benefits
