Work Environment

You will be working in a modern outpatient setting, with a focus on home care services. Your typical work schedule will be from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Key Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, and develop individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
• Manage a caseload of patients, ensuring that each individual receives focused attention and care throughout their therapy journey.
• Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing evidence-based practices to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Incorporate non-surgical treatment options into patient care, reducing dependency on medication while promoting natural healing.
• Utilize innovative treatment methods and therapeutic exercises to enhance patient mobility and function.
• Monitor and document patient progress through precise EMR systems, specifically employing WebPT to maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
• Encourage and motivate patients to adhere to their rehabilitation plans and promote their engagement in active recovery.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations to assess treatment effectiveness, adapting care plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and healthy lifestyle choices that enhance strength, flexibility, and balance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist with Corehab, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, orthopedic surgical patients, and individuals seeking rehabilitation for chronic pain and mobility impairments. Your expertise will empower patients to overcome challenges and achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean record free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques and successful exercise program development.
• Strong proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of current physical therapy practices, supported by ongoing professional development and research.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting, preferably with orthopedic patients.
• Experience implementing evidence-based interventions that cater to improving patient outcomes.
• Background in sports medicine and a strong understanding of athletic injuries will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Corehab offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
