Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions and assessments from your home office while occasionally engaging with patients in their homes as needed. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals in an outpatient setting, where teamwork and communication are key to creating a supportive environment for both our staff and patients. This setting fosters collaboration with other therapists, social workers, and psychiatrists to facilitate holistic care and treatment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and formulates mental health diagnoses while developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Implement short-term counseling interventions for individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, substance abuse, and domestic violence, ensuring the use of appropriate therapeutic modalities.

• Provide case management services, coordinating care and resources for patients actively participating in their treatment journey to enhance their overall well-being.
\n
• Participate as a proactive team member in crisis intervention efforts, conducting assessments, de-escalation techniques, and, when necessary, engaging the public mental health crisis response resources.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive follow-up assessments and develop prevention planning aimed at reducing the incidence of future crises.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patient population you will serve includes individuals across various demographics who are dealing with mental health disorders, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and behavioral health conditions. You'll employ a trauma-informed approach while recognizing the unique needs of each patient and adapting your methods to suit their specific circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.) with an active license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing direct mental health services to individuals, families, and groups.
\n
• Strong clinical skills tailored to mental health service delivery with a thorough understanding of various treatment modalities.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches suited to the needs of diverse client populations.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to facilitate potential home visits and outreach, consistently adhering to legal requirements.
