About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night and Day Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in specialty applying for required. License: Must have a permanent license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must work at least every other holiday. Traveler must complete assessments during orientation with acceptable scores required. Description: The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide care to the patient population. Position includes potential to float to other units as needed. Shifts may be variable to meet the operational needs of the facility. Applicant must have a minimum of 12 months of experience in the specialty. Active certifications are required and must be in hand at the time of submission. References from a supervisory position in the specialty are needed to qualify for submission. A background check will be conducted, and any open cases will disqualify the applicant. Nicotine-related requirements apply to all travelers except for specified exemptions. Candidates must complete specific fingerprinting requirements within the designated timeframe after signing the contract. Extensions may be available on a case-by-case basis. Candidates may be required to complete additional competency requirements annually. Modules are provided for training and education as needed. All required competencies and certifications must be maintained throughout the duration of the contract.
