Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' specific needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy, addressing a range of mental health issues.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families to enhance understanding and foster supportive environments.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, ensuring transparency and accountability in client care.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay informed of the latest advancements in mental health research and practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on underserved individuals and families, providing them with vital mental health services. You will have the opportunity to help clients navigate various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, fostering a path toward recovery and improved quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LPCC license in California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling, demonstrating competency in diverse therapeutic approaches.

• A comprehensive understanding of legal and ethical standards within mental health practice.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and an eagerness to adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Experience\n
