Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories and mental health status, identifying their treatment needs effectively.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans addressing addiction concerns while integrating therapeutic strategies for accompanying mental health issues.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to maximize therapeutic effectiveness.

• Navigate and manage crises appropriately, providing immediate interventions when necessary to ensure client safety and wellbeing.

• Work alongside a collaborative treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to provide holistic care that meets the varying needs of our clients.

• Educate and engage clients' families, promoting their involvement in the recovery process for enhanced support.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring the integrity of client records.

This position primarily focuses on individuals struggling with substance abuse, including alcohol and drug dependencies, along with co-occurring mental health disorders. You will work with diverse clients, each with unique backgrounds and experiences, necessitating a compassionate and tailored approach to treatment. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a master's or doctoral degree is preferred.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment is highly desirable.
