Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough admission assessments for new patients, showcasing professionalism and a welcoming demeanor to provide a positive first impression and facilitate the admissions process.

• Take an active role in clinical outreach and program tours, showcasing our services to potential clients and community stakeholders.
\n
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings to discuss and establish treatment goals collaboratively, ensuring team members are aligned in the care provided to each patient.
\n
• Manage utilization reviews with insurance providers, offering accurate clinical information for initial authorizations as well as continued stay authorizations.
\n
• Maintain effective communication with family members and loved ones, returning calls and emails within two hours during business hours and within 24 hours at all other times.
\n
• Work closely with the Utilization Review Department and Business Department regarding patient authorizations and payments to enable seamless service delivery.
\n
• Coordinate with outpatient providers and referral sources to maintain continuity of care during the admission, midpoint, and discharge phases.
\n
• Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission for every patient, ensuring all coping skills and transition plans are understood and resources are appropriately provided before discharge.
\n
• Respond effectively to crises during therapy sessions and within the treatment milieu, providing support to the milieu staff as necessary and ensuring a therapeutic environment.
\n
• Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation at the point of service, maintaining compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
\n
• Establish therapeutic rapport with patients, including conducting assessments for suicidality and potential harm to self or others, to deliver safe and effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program (e.g., MA, MSW, MFT, PhD, PsyD).

• An independent license to practice in the state of Oregon, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.

• Ability to effectively manage a sizeable caseload while collaborating with a broad network of providers and support staff.

• Demonstrated passion for improving lives and influencing the future of behavioral health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 yearly, reflective of your qualifications and experience.
