Position Overview

Advent Care Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team at our rehabilitation facility located in Orlando, Florida. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, encouraging recovery, and improving the quality of life for our clients through tailored physical therapy solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, and a zealous passion for helping individuals regain their physical capabilities.

Work Environment

You will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility where you will find a harmonious blend of technology, resources, and support staff dedicated to enhancing patient care. We operate Monday to Friday with a standard full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients who have been referred by physicians, developing individual treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
• Implement effective therapeutic interventions in accordance with evidence-based practices to facilitate optimal recovery outcomes.
• Continuously assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide education to patients and their caregivers about injury prevention, treatment modalities, and self-management strategies to enhance long-term recovery.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and collaborate on advanced care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Exhibit outstanding customer service and create a welcoming environment for all patients, contributing positively to the overall patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Advent Care, you will have the unique opportunity to work across a diverse patient population. Your caseload may include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and pediatric patients requiring specialized care. We strive to create customized therapy sessions that not only address physical needs but also nurture emotional and psychological recovery, ensuring an all-encompassing approach to health.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in computer skills including word processing for documentation and data management.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and motivate them in achieving their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not mandatory.
• State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a therapeutic setting.
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with an attractive benefits package that includes local and national organization dues reimbursement, fitness incentives, insurance benefits, paid parental leave, and a robust 401k plan with profit-sharing opportunities.
