Work Environment

Our outpatient clinic is a collaborative and supportive environment with a focus on patient-centered care. The facility spans 5,000 square feet, equipped with the latest technology and tools to facilitate effective rehabilitation for our diverse patient population. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will be part of a dynamic team that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, all working together to ensure excellent patient outcomes. The clinic operates onsite with a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients’ specific needs and functional goals.
• Manage and nurture a caseload with a focus on individual treatment sessions, allowing for 1-on-1 care.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate various modalities and interventions aimed at improving mobility and overall physical function.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance range of motion, alleviate pain, and improve strength.
• Educate patients on exercises and self-management strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and comprehensively in our EMR system, ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to create a unified care approach for each patient.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions and modify strategies as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Involve patients in wellness programs that promote healthy lifestyle choices through improved strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Urban Movement Rehab & Wellness Center, we primarily serve patients struggling with orthopedic injuries and conditions. Our clients include individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Each treatment plan is customized based on the patient's unique objectives, ensuring a comprehensive approach that addresses both physical and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current, valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• An exemplary professional record without any history of disciplinary actions by the board.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques to enhance patient recovery.
• Proficient in establishing effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Able to efficiently utilize the WebPT EMR software for documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience

Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable. Candidates should exhibit strong capabilities in patient assessment, treatment planning, and therapy execution. Moreover, familiarity with various rehabilitation equipment and modalities will significantly enhance the effectiveness of treatment delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

In return for your dedication and effort, we offer a competitive salary range between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
