Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Center in Orlando. You will be working Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, in a dynamic and supportive team environment. Our center is designed to facilitate therapeutic activities and rehabilitation exercises, offering a welcoming atmosphere for both our staff and patients. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and establish individualized treatment goals based on comprehensive evaluations.
• Maintain a focus on quality care by managing a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques to administer cost-effective treatments aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
• Develop and implement customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific requirements of each patient.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them to reach their rehabilitation goals and minimize reliance on medication.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Document all services provided accurately, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and monitor progress to adapt therapy plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and conditions, such as fractures, arthritis, and post-operative rehabilitation. You will play a crucial role in helping them regain physical function, improve strength and flexibility, and ensure a smooth transition back to daily activities. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, and your empathetic approach will be important in building strong therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A clean record, free from board or disciplinary actions affecting your licensure.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and hands-on treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating a successful track record of patient care.
• Experience in designing and implementing exercise programs that engage patients effectively.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to enhance documentation and streamline patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
