Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to gather comprehensive background information and develop care strategies.

• Providing personalized individual and family therapy sessions, adapting approaches based on identified patient needs and treatment goals.

• Completing thorough billing documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within specified timelines to ensure smooth operational flow.

• Developing crisis intervention plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention plans as needed, which will serve as vital tools in ensuring the long-term stability of clients.

• Creating effective discharge plans that facilitate successful transitions back into the community and resources available to patients.
\n
• Adhering to all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies with the utmost professionalism.

• Engaging in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and maintaining licensure requirements.

• Participating actively in case consultations and agency meetings to provide insights and share best practices among colleagues.

• Completing all mandatory training and maintaining records of licensure and certifications, which will help in strengthening client trust and organizational integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for professional licensure.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Tennessee, showcasing your commitment to maintaining high professional standards.

While we welcome applicants with varying levels of experience, we prefer individuals who have prior experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans. Compensation and Benefits\n
