Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while serving clients. Our telehealth platform is designed to facilitate seamless communication and effective treatment delivery, ensuring that our clients receive timely care regardless of their physical location. The role typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with additional evening hours occasionally required based on client needs and appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to identify mental health and substance use issues in clients, focusing on the presence of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans with clients, incorporating evidence-based interventions that address both mental health and substance use concerns.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques tailored to their needs.

• Coordinate care effectively within the multidisciplinary team, ensuring holistic treatment through regular collaboration with psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists.

• Implement substance use monitoring protocols and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients actively in their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families on the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, fostering understanding and compliance with treatment plans.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment progress, interventions, and referrals in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing training to enhance your expertise in treating co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position emphasizes working with a diverse range of clients experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. You will engage with individuals from various backgrounds and demographics, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Strong foundational understanding of the dynamics between mental health illnesses and substance use issues.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of relevant experience working in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on co-occurring disorders. Experience with telehealth platforms and familiarity with contemporary therapeutic methodologies will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
