Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop individualized, culturally responsive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients through various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, both in individual and group settings.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to educate clients and foster a sense of community among participants.

• Assist clients in developing new coping, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively manage their mental health.

• Engage in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure holistic, coordinated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support services during mental health emergencies, ensuring all clients receive the immediate care they need.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing our practice's electronic health record systems.

• Take part in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Stay updated with the latest research and clinical advancements in mental health therapy, consistently applying new knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

As a therapist at South Hills Counseling Services, you will work closely with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds, those identifying as LGBTQ+, and members of immigrant communities. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current independent licensure as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California, allowing you to practice without supervision.

• Strong interpersonal skills complemented by proficiency in technology and electronic health record systems.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Ability to deliver therapy using culturally responsive and inclusive methodologies, ensuring that clients feel understood and valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

South Hills Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
