Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of new clients to evaluate their mood disorder symptoms, including assessing the severity, frequency, and duration.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, underpinning their specific needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring techniques to each client's circumstances.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to improve overall mental health.

• Monitor client progress regularly by updating treatment plans and making necessary adjustments based on ongoing assessments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety-related disorders, and bipolar disorder. The goal is to provide tailored, evidence-based interventions to help clients regain stability and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related fields from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities specifically for mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.

• A strong grasp of psychopharmacology and the capacity to communicate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare team members.

• A proven history of delivering effective outcomes in therapy and support for mood disorders.
