Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings, adapting techniques to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitate weekly group therapy sessions with a maximum of 8 clients per group, promoting a safe and engaging environment that fosters healing and open communication.

• Participate in regular team case discussions to share insights and strategies that enhance client care and improve treatment outcomes.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with organizational and legal standards.

• Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct virtual appointments, ensuring accessibility for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on working with adolescents and young adults who are navigating various mental health challenges. By addressing issues such as substance use, emotional trauma, and mental illness, our counselors strive to empower clients on their journey to recovery and wellness. Our approach emphasizes building strong therapeutic relationships, allowing for in-depth discussions and tailored interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current licensure as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Availability to dedicate a minimum of 12 hours per week, with opportunities expanding to 40 hours depending on the employment model chosen (contract vs. W2).

• Strong communication skills, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
