Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, this role provides a flexible work atmosphere where you can manage your schedule while maintaining a structured approach to providing care during standard business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our telehealth facility is equipped with user-friendly technology, enabling seamless communication, efficient documentation, and effective client management tools. You'll have the advantage of working from your home office while engaging with patients using secure video conferencing software.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the scope and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews to gather comprehensive data.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, utilizing techniques such as goal-setting and progress tracking.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address issues related to mood disorders, ensuring sessions are goal-oriented and therapeutic.

• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families, focusing on understanding mood disorders, potential treatment pathways, and practical self-care strategies that promote wellness.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout treatment, ensuring that care plans are adjusted as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback from clients.

• Work in close partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to guarantee integrated care, participating in case consultations to discuss treatment efficacy and client needs.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment for mood disorders, participating in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings to discuss cases and share insights, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances client care.

• Advocate for clients by promoting mental health awareness and supporting initiatives aimed at reducing the stigma associated with mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on clients facing mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving clients' lives as you guide them through their therapeutic journeys, employing empathy and understanding to build trust and rapport.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies, including CBT and DBT, with a strong focus on implementing these techniques in clinical practice.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the nuances of working within an interdisciplinary medical team.

• A proven ability to demonstrate effective treatment outcomes in your practice with mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
