Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to coordinate mental health assessment and treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive care for our clients both within and outside the clinic.

• Conduct mental health training sessions for medical, psychiatric, and security staff upon request, enriching their understanding of mental health and improving clinical outcomes.
\n
• Effectively intervene during mental health crises, utilizing de-escalation techniques to create a safe environment for clients and staff.
\n
• Attend commitment hearings and engage in legal proceedings when necessary, advocating for patient needs in a compassionate manner.
\n
• Design individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals for each client, regularly reviewing their progress to adapt strategies as needed.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all patient interactions, ensuring compliance with confidentiality laws and best practices in mental health records management.
\n
• Verify historical mental health records for each client, including previous psychotropic medication use, to inform current treatment strategies.
\n
• Prepare regular operational reports and responses to specific inquiries from the medical team to optimize patient care approaches.
\n
• Collaborate with nursing and mental health staff to provide referrals for post-release care, ensuring continuity in the client’s mental health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, trauma, and those requiring family or couples therapy. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
