Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to gather information about their emotional and psychological needs.

• Create and execute individualized treatment plans that consider the unique developmental stages and family circumstances of each patient.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to effectively address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
\n
• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers, fostering supportive home environments.
\n
• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals to ensure seamless treatment continuity and comprehensive care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for emergency situations involving young patients and establish a safety planning protocol when necessary.
\n
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to promote awareness and understanding.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards in a timely manner through electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions, contributing insights and staying updated on mental health advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically targets the mental health needs of children and adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and various behavioral disorders. By creating a trusting and supportive environment, you will foster relationships that encourage open communication between young patients, their families, and the therapeutic team.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• A current state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic modalities.
\n
• A robust understanding of childhood and adolescent mental health disorders and proven strategies for interventions.
\n
• Experience providing both individual and family therapy to young clients, preferably in a telehealth format.
\n
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Adeptness with electronic health record systems and strong computer skills.
\n
• An ability to work harmoniously in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of experience in a mental health role working with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, falling between USD 75,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, Comprehensive Medical, Inc. offers a sign-on bonus to support your transition into this role.
