Work Environment

Located in Ashburn, Virginia, our onsite rehabilitation center features advanced facilities and cutting-edge technology designed to create an optimal healing environment for our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care in both acute and outpatient settings, implementing treatment plans that cater to individual patient needs.
• Conduct thorough evaluations, including reviewing patient history, performing specific assessments, and documenting findings to formulate effective treatment recommendations.
• Implement and adjust treatment programs for assigned patients based on established plans, ensuring accurate documentation that reflects the patient's evolving needs and progress.
• Engage in detailed discharge planning and follow-up care, maintaining comprehensive records that depict the patient's journey through therapy, including clear initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, and discharge evaluations.
• Comply with corporate and clinical training requirements, ensuring adherence to all state, local, and federal regulations while upholding the highest professional standards.
• Communicate openly and respectfully with patients, their families, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative approach in care delivery.
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding patient care strategies and facility operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on orthopedic populations, providing rehabilitative care that assists individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with patients of all ages, customizing treatment plans to facilitate effective healing and functional recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active physical therapy license in the State of Virginia, as required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a physical therapist is desired. Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings or working with orthopedic conditions will be particularly beneficial. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also advantageous, as documentation is a crucial aspect of the role.

Compensation and Benefits
