Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, situated within our modern rehabilitation facility in the dynamic community of Ashburn, Virginia. The work schedule is designed to promote a healthy work-life balance, operating Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to establish their individual rehabilitation goals, taking into consideration their medical history and specific needs.
• Design and implement tailored physical therapy treatment plans that integrate various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Maintain a manageable patient case load to ensure patients receive the time and attention they deserve during their treatment.
• Employ cost-effective rehabilitation strategies that focus on improving functionality while minimizing reliance on surgical interventions and medications.
• Incorporate educational components into therapeutic sessions to empower patients with knowledge about their conditions and the importance of lifestyle modifications.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Web PT, for accurate documentation of patient care and progress tracking.
• Continuously monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance overall patient care and address comprehensive health issues.
• Document all services provided and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active and intact Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• In-depth knowledge of orthopedic and manual therapy techniques, alongside a strong foundation in evidence-based practice.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, is essential for maintaining accurate patient records.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients and their families effectively.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
