Work Environment

Your work setting will be in a collaborative and dynamic outpatient office in Leesburg, Virginia. Working alongside two other physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will participate in a culture of teamwork and continuous learning. The clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work schedule that allows for professional focus while ensuring personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of new patients to identify their goals, challenges, and functional needs.
• Create individual treatment plans utilizing evidence-based approaches that guide intervention and rehabilitation.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure personalized attention and support.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques to improve patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall physical performance.
• Encourage active participation in recovery by designing fitness and wellness plans tailored to enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, producing the best outcomes possible.
• Document patient progress meticulously using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate records and facilitate communication within the care team.
• Motivate and educate patients regarding their recovery process and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly to ensure effectiveness and make adjustments to care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is serving individuals recovering from orthopedic issues, including post-surgery rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By specializing in outpatient care, we aim to provide optimal recovery pathways that help patients regain their chosen lifestyle while emphasizing preventative strategies to maintain long-term health.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• A strong professional record without disciplinary actions against your physical therapy license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise programming as part of treatment protocols.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, to ensure efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proven skills in developing tailored fitness and rehabilitation programs that promote patient engagement and recovery.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering strong relationships with patients and colleagues alike.

Compensation and Benefits

Integrity Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
