Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct utilization reviews for insurance providers, ensuring that all clinical information is thoroughly documented for initial and continued care authorizations.

• Maintain open lines of communication with families and loved ones by responding to inquiries within two hours during business hours and within 24 hours at other times.
\n
• Work effectively with the Utilization Review Department to manage authorizations and payment processes, while liaising with referral sources and outpatient providers for seamless continuity of care.
\n
• Initiate discharge planning on the day of patient admission; guide patients through discharge sessions ensuring they understand coping strategies, their transition plans, and available resources.
\n
• Skillfully manage crises that may arise during therapy sessions, providing critical support to the milieu staff and ensuring a high level of clinical care.
\n
• Complete timely and detailed clinical documentation at the time of service, ensuring compliance with standard practices and regulatory requirements.
\n
• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families while conducting suicidality assessments to evaluate safety and risk effectively.
\n
• Facilitate welcoming admission assessments for new clients, demonstrating courtesy and professionalism throughout the process.
\n
• Engage in weekly clinical team meetings to discuss treatment strategies and goals, supporting other clinical team members as needed.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An independent mental health license in the state of residence (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
\n
• Strong electronic medical records proficiency to streamline documentation and patient management.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, particularly via electronic mail, to efficiently interact with clients and team members.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a significant caseload while coexisting with multidisciplinary teams and large providers.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community health, outpatient clinic, or similar setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
