Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' needs and formulate individualized therapeutic strategies.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic sessions utilizing various modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and psychodynamic approaches.

• Engage with clients in individual, family, and group settings to address and facilitate healing from diverse mental health concerns.

• Maintain up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while employing electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans that optimize client outcomes.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, workshops, and training sessions to stay informed on the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families with varying degrees of mental health challenges. Our focus is especially on those who have faced barriers to accessing mental health services. As a counselor, you will address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and more, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LCPC license in the state of Illinois is mandatory.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
