Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients’ mental health status through interviews, questionnaires, and diagnostic tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and concerns of clients.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions both individually and in group settings, employing culturally responsive and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Monitor client progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or substance abuse specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, demonstrating calmness and strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.

• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to enhance professional development and contribute to team goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients facing various challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, and substance use issues. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of being a trusted resource for your clients, empowering them with effective coping mechanisms and tools for recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York is mandatory.

• A minimum of four years of related experience in a clinical setting is essential.

• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and effective treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy.
\n
• Excellent crisis intervention skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools.

• A commitment to ethical standards, professionalism, and maintaining confidentiality.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with different therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
