Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including active and passive exercises, muscle re-education techniques, training for activities of daily living, and gait training.
• Provide educational support to patients and their families regarding care plans, strategies for recovery, and preventive measures.
• Maintain open communication with all team members to collaboratively ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
• Utilize electronic records systems for documentation and tracking of patient progress and therapy outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with diverse patient populations, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your role is vital in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, helping them regain strength, mobility, and confidence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution or its foreign equivalent.
• Current California State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly preferred, though new graduates with a passion for orthopedic therapy are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with modern rehabilitation technologies and practices will be considered an advantage.
