Work Environment

This full-time position requires working onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation facility in Moreno Valley, California. You will be joining a collaborative team that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable and supportive work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and establish specific treatment goals.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and tailored treatment protocols.
• Leverage your experience in outpatient orthopedic care to deliver cost-effective interventions that enhance motion and mobility.
• Develop, implement, and supervise individualized care plans based on diverse treatment techniques and modalities.
• Minimize reliance on medications by promoting non-surgical alternatives and functional rehabilitation approaches.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's unique requirements and goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately, ensuring clear, ongoing communication with patients and their families.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journey to maximize functional outcomes and independence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to each patient's care.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle through patient education around strength training, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve treating patients who have sustained orthopedic injuries or conditions requiring rehabilitation. The majority of our clientele have private medical insurance, ensuring coverage for a wide range of therapeutic interventions. By working closely with these individuals, you will help facilitate their journey to optimal health and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Must hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No prior disciplinary actions should have been taken against the license.
• Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills and effective patient interaction.
• Proficient in developing tailored exercise programs based on individual patient assessments.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to document patient care efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• A background working in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
