Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our Riverside rehabilitation facility, designed to foster teamwork and patient interaction. Operating during business hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, the facility supports a busy atmosphere with a diverse patient load. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate each patient's physical condition upon initial assessment, identifying specific needs and formulating tailored therapy plans that align with both short- and long-term rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities such as heat, cold, and ultrasound therapy, to address patients' unique physical challenges.
• Monitor and adjust individual treatment plans based on patients' progress, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes and consistently providing essential encouragement and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and self-management strategies, including at-home exercise regimens to promote active involvement in their recovery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and patient records in adherence to clinic policies while facilitating effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nutritionists to develop integrated care plans that address the whole patient.
• Actively participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient care strategies, share best practices, and foster a team-oriented approach to patient recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on a varied patient population dealing primarily with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical recoveries, chronic pain management, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders. Patients seek our services to regain mobility, reduce pain, and restore functional ability, and as their therapist, you will play a crucial role in guiding them toward achieving these goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A thorough understanding of human anatomy and physiology, specifically as it relates to the practice of physical therapy.
• Exceptional communication abilities to interact effectively with patients, family members, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual compensation for this position ranges from $110,000 to $125,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
