Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining connections with clients through virtual platforms. Our outpatient office encourages a culture of collaboration, where therapists can share insights and strategies in order to deliver the best possible care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing clinical assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address client issues.

• Educate clients and their families on the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices that promote well-being.

• Monitor client progress, evaluate treatment efficacy, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to foster positive outcomes.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients experiencing complex mental health challenges.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment to enhance clinical practices and improve client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to foster continuous learning.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, promoting awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically targets individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our client base includes individuals from various backgrounds, including marginalized populations such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic violence. As a therapist, you will be instrumental in helping these individuals navigate their mental health challenges and achieve emotional stability.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary in the range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
