Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and determine appropriate treatment plans.

• Set measurable goals and implement tailored rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring functional mobility and improving patient quality of life in accordance with physician directives.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient assessments, treatment logs, and progress notes utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Provide leadership and support to physical therapy assistants (PTAs) and other support personnel, fostering a collaborative environment for delivering quality patient care.

• Engage in ongoing assessment of treatment efficacy, modify plans based on patient progress, and ensure optimal use of resources, including technology and therapeutic equipment.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and collaborate on comprehensive treatment approaches.

• Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at improving service quality and operational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with team members and patients.

• Proficiency in word processing and computer applications, particularly EHR systems.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a demonstrated ability to manage a diverse patient caseload.
