Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patient mental health status and psychosocial needs, ensuring a thorough understanding of each individual's circumstances.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that employ evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic modalities tailored to patient's preferences.

• Providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals, focusing on issues relating to grief, depression, and anxiety often encountered in hospice settings.

• Maintaining detailed clinical records in accordance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance with mental health documentation requirements.

• Collaborating closely with members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care, facilitating discussions that incorporate both mental and physical health concerns.

• Participating in case reviews and consultations, which promote clinical excellence and foster a spirit of collaboration among staff.

• Educating patients and their families on mental health issues, coping strategies, and available community resources, equipping them to make informed decisions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of patients dealing with end-of-life issues and associated mental health challenges. This may include patients facing terminal illnesses and their families who require emotional, psychological, and practical support during profoundly difficult times. Your expertise in addressing complex emotional reactions will be essential in providing comfort and guidance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.

• At least 3 years of direct clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services within a healthcare setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
