Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, utilizing diagnostic tools to evaluate heart function and health.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of cardiac conditions, including hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmias, while developing individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe effective medications, administer treatments, and collaborate with physicians to implement advanced cardiac care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families about heart health, emphasizing preventive care practices, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in alignment with regulatory standards, ensuring quality and compliance in documentation.
• Engage with community organizations to develop health education programs focused on cardiovascular disease prevention and management.
• Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and treatment guidelines within cardiovascular health to ensure evidence-based practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals of all ages facing a range of cardiovascular issues. This includes preventive care for at-risk individuals, acute care for those experiencing heart-related conditions, and ongoing management for chronic cardiovascular diseases. You will be responsible for providing culturally competent care to ensure that each patient receives personalized support that aligns with their unique health needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• An active state nursing license with certification in Cardiovascular Nursing or a relevant specialty area.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with a strong focus on cardiology or cardiovascular health.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

CareFirst Wellness is proud to offer an attractive compensation package, with a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 – 160,000 per year.
