Security Officer Part Time Medical Center Patrol Cutler Bay, FL As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations involving individuals who may require restraint, and assist with access-related responsibilities in sensitive areas such as the morgue. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and reporting unauthorized activity or policy concerns. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately; promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccination requirements. Be able to work in a hospital morgue. Be able to restrain individuals when necessary. Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
