Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-time Onsite Position

Compassion Elevated Therapy is looking for a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Old Bridge, New Jersey. This full-time role focuses on providing top-notch orthopedic care to help our patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life through customized physical therapy interventions.

Work Environment

This position will be based out of our thriving outpatient office in Old Bridge, where our team fosters a supportive and energetic atmosphere. You will be collaborating with a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and administrative staff, to ensure holistic patient care. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Deliver high-quality orthopedic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices and the latest treatment modalities to optimize patient recovery.
• Document patient progress in our electronic medical records (EMR) system on a daily basis, ensuring accurate and timely updates for continuity of care.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers to maximize patient outcomes and coordinate care strategies.
• Utilize independent clinical judgment and expertise to modify treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is specifically focused on treating orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, trauma, or chronic pain conditions. You will work directly with patients of varying ages, predominantly adults and seniors, assuring that each treatment approach is adapted to the patient's unique capabilities and goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's degree or Doctorate is preferable.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience, particularly in orthopedic, geriatric, or outpatient settings.
• Proficient in orthopedic assessments, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation planning aligned with the best practices in physical therapy.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills to facilitate effective patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with various treatment techniques such as manual therapy, post-operative rehabilitation, and therapeutic modalities.
• Previous use of EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
• Understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration and its role in effective patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based bonuses.
