Position Overview

Trailbound Rehabilitation & Wellness Center is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly assess, evaluate, and create individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic conditions, ensuring adherence to state practice acts and physical therapy laws.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including reviewing patients' relevant medical histories and performing specialized assessments to inform treatment decisions.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols and adjust treatment plans dynamically based on patient progress and evolving healthcare standards.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, including initial evaluations, treatment progress notes, and discharge summaries, to maintain a clear and accurate record of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to address any changes in patients' conditions and modify clinical strategies as needed.
• Engage in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and recommend follow-up treatments or referrals as appropriate.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to meet all corporate and clinical compliance requirements, including state and federal regulations.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to initiatives that aim to enhance patient access to services and improve overall healthcare delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is essential.
• Must possess current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits
