Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Engaging in effective communication with physicians, reporting on patient progress, needs, and any concerns that require attention.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with departmental policies.
\n
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop comprehensive treatment and discharge plans based on psychosocial assessments and evidence-based interventions.

• Providing crisis intervention services, effectively assessing and treating emotional and behavioral issues presented by clients.
\n
• Assisting clients with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to less intensive services while coordinating care with other regional service providers.

• Consulting with patients' families and support systems to facilitate effective treatment strategies and discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use issues, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in an outpatient mental health setting.

• Proficient computer skills, specifically with MS Office, electronic medical records, and telehealth platforms, ensuring effective documentation and patient communication.

• The ability to work independently, demonstrating self-direction, exceptional organizational skills, and adaptability in a virtual environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in utilizing evidence-based treatment practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and those familiar with cultural competence in mental health are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
