Muscular Movement Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Englewood, Florida. This full-time position focuses on helping patients regain mobility and enhance their quality of life through targeted therapeutic interventions. Work Environment

This position is onsite, in-home care, which allows for a more personalized interaction with patients, thereby fostering a supportive and nurturing environment. Working from Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, you will have a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance while meeting the high demand for therapy services in our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to understand the specific goals and requirements of each patient.
• Maintain a consistent patient load, dedicating one hour per patient to focus on their unique rehabilitation needs.
• Utilize evidence-based manual therapy techniques to promote recovery while minimizing reliance on medication and suggesting non-surgical alternatives.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans and recommend a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patient conditions.
• Implement customized fitness and wellness programs that are designed to improve each patient's strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Provide ongoing motivation and encouragement to patients, enabling them to optimize their functional capabilities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for our patients.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately, ensuring effective communication among the team and with patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. This diverse population ranges from actively aging adults to younger individuals who require assistance in improving their physical function and mobility. Your expertise will significantly impact their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain confidence and independence.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in clinical manual therapy techniques and the design/implementation of effective exercise programs.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software such as WebPT for effective documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing diverse patient cases with a focus on rehabilitation and mobility enhancement.
• Experience in home care settings is a plus, providing a better understanding of patient needs in this environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually based on experience.
