Position Overview

Grand Health Care Clinic, located in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our full-time rehabilitation team. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility located in Las Vegas, where you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Our clinical environment fosters teamwork and communication to enhance patient recovery. Your standard working hours will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to meet patient needs and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in the delivery of customized treatment plans designed to enhance patient mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and techniques aimed at promoting physical well-being, while providing support and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and effective exercise routines so they can continue their recovery process at home.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, including capturing pertinent details on range of motion improvements, strength gains, and functionality to ensure effective treatment adjustments.
• Prepare treatment areas before and after sessions, ensuring all equipment and supplies are organized, functional, and readily available for patient use.
• Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care, optimizing therapeutic outcomes for all patients.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality, while maintaining a supportive environment that fosters healing.

Qualifications

• An associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• A valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Nevada.

Compensation and Benefits
