Mechanical Engineer for AI Model Training [Remote]

Apply deep mechanical engineering knowledge to evaluate and improve AI-generated technical content, and to help train next-generation AI systems by providing accurate, practical engineering judgment across design, analysis, and manufacturing contexts. No prior AI experience is required, your domain expertise is the primary qualification.

• Analyze and solve advanced mechanical engineering problems across engineering mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, vibrations, and manufacturing.
• Evaluate and review AI-generated technical content for engineering accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
• Apply practical engineering judgment to real-world design and analysis scenarios, ensuring realistic and feasible solutions.
• Deliver constructive technical feedback that improves reasoning and output quality of AI models.
• Assess proposed engineering solutions for manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Document detailed explanations and rationales for engineering decisions and recommendations.
• Collaborate remotely with a multidisciplinary team, using strong written and verbal communication.

• Preferred education: MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, or BS with 8+ years of related industry experience.
• Experience: 5+ years advancing real-world mechanical design, product development, analysis, or R and D initiatives.
• Proven experience delivering products or mechanical systems through to production.
• Outstanding analytical and engineering problem-solving abilities applied to complex technical challenges.
• Demonstrated professional proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary or remote engineering projects is a plus.
