Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, followed by appropriate diagnoses and treatment planning tailored to each individual.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities for short-term counseling focused on issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, addiction, and domestic violence.

• Engage in crisis intervention by assessing urgent situations, de-escalating conflicts, and coordinating with public mental health crisis response teams when necessary.

• Implement short-term case management services to support clients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring consistent follow-up and resource referrals.

• Collaboration is key; work closely with interdisciplinary team members to develop and refine treatment plans, and evaluate their effectiveness through continuous feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The licensed mental health counselor will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals and families facing various psychological challenges. The clinic serves a broad spectrum of cases, from those suffering from chronic mental illness to clients dealing with episodic crises, ensuring each individual receives the appropriate care and support they need.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral science field is required, along with a current and active licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) by the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
